If the interior trim of the car is original and unmolested It's more like to be a very early B18 car from 1962. Would be interesting to know the chassis number. Might well be originally an import by someone in the armed forces. It was normal then to give them a reg number from that year rather than an age related.
Let's play guess the chassis number - 88888
A nice one to keep original, especially if it still has the early grilles. More pics please.

See it has the early padded door cappings too, nice. Thought they were very early.

Well, bless my soul if it doesn't seem to have one of those centre consoles everybody is getting so excited about!

That style dash with door cappings ended on the last of the 64 model year.

I can't quite tell, but from the eBay photos (below) does this have the rear quarterlight fitted? The chrome trim around the rear window quarter is different to mine.

I think the dash pad continuing onto the door caps carried over from the B16 to only the very early B18s. Does anyone know for sure? My July '62 car has them.

Good luck with the sale.

Regards
Lucien
