None of the buttons/ignition/fuses techniques worked on my 06 185,
A reset with the DICE did the job though |

Never worked on mine either, I had to have it reset on Vida Dice and it's been fine since

Volvo's eh?
Weird... MY08 S60 D5 185hp
Had to use the b4st4rd love child of Gmonag & (kind of) MarmiteSpreader's methods. Remember using a fuse-pull method on my previous MY06 S60 D5 185hp & it worked. Thought I'd try Gmonag's easy-peasy method. Didn't work... So set Window into Auto-Up & pulled fuse #4 (front RH). Turned off & pulled key. Waited 30 secs. Reinsert fuse, reinsert key, turn to pos2.... Manual Up n Down worked, but Auto Up n Down... NOTHING!!! Did Gmonags Down n Up, hold for 10 secs, pull key whilst holding button. Reinsert & set key to pos 2. Windows auto reset, & now work fine. THANKS GUYS!! Now... Can anyone tell me why, when I try to replace the drivers side Fuse Cover, it's such a tw4t to pop back on, no matter how much I wiggle & align it, & the bl00dy fuse puller & random spare fuses pop off the fuse cover, either into the road, or worse - inside the dash. Then I have to spend ages on my back, remove the access panel in the footwell to get the fuse puller out (and the random spare fuses). CRAP DESIGN FUSE COVER VOLVO!!!.... |

I tried everything, problem was with both windows.
Eventually bought a pre-loved Dice/Vida/Laptop setup and voila! - Windows work fine now. Cheers Dave |

#9 + 10 secs worked Also to be aware of the fuse numbers 11 in the RHD fuse board is the immobilser not door/window console It's fuse 5 you need to pull - just check the manual first! |
