amazon 120 4 door
can anyone give me advice on what to do with our 1965 120?
The drivers door seems to be rusted to a largeish hole at the base, assumong that i can remedy the leak, is there anything that i can do to it, all the rest of the car is in its original paintwork, grey, and it would be a shame to respray the whole thing. Can provide photos of the problem. |

The door is capable of repair. I think there is someone who advertises in the club magazine who specialises in Amazon bits and pieces and their repair. He should be able to match the colour of your car as well.

RE: amazon 120 4 door
If there are reinforced mountings available they will be in the corners above the parcel shelf and may require new quarter panels through which to feed the belts or may just require brackets on the quarter panel. The centre fixings will be under the rear seat and central and the outer fixings should be at the sides of the rear seat, by the wheel arch low on the floor. If there are no reinforced mountings or captive nuts in the required positions then you will need to talk to one of the Amazon experts who advertise in the "Driver" and who will be pleased to let you know how to do it.
All the best, Peter. |
