Hi Don - Mine has a RICA remap, and an ITG air filter and was recently measured at 240 @ the wheels, so about 280bhp.
I'm just trying to find as much information as I can about where next from here! I'm hearing different things about the 19T, ECU, downpipe & cat upgrade. Some say between 320-340bhp would be achievable, and some say about 300bhp is more realistic. See the thing is, it wouldn't be worth spending the money if the increase was "only" 20bhp. Thats about 8% increase in power for about £2000. |

Yeah but you'd lose BHP and you'd still need a remap.

By using a standard downpipe and cat instead of a 3" downpipe and race cat!

you would not lose anything, you would just gain less
rumour has it a decat will gain more than a 3" with race cat is your car auto? |

Mine's a manual 850R
Any stats on the decat as opposed to the race cat? I wouldn't mind swapping this over for the MOT as long as it was pretty easy to do i.e. there aren't any sensors involved etc. |

I can say that you will gain nothing with removing the cat over fitting a Ferrita nominal 3" pipe with a high quality Kemira cat....you will occasionaly get engine check lights up with no cat.
You will get very, very close to a 19T output with an 18T which will fit to a 16T standard d'pipe, additionally just a small amount of work by a proper turbo specialist on an 18T will exceed the 19T's capabilities. The Garrett hybrid also fits your d'pipe. My price for the Ferrita d'pipe is £580 plus VAT for whichever turbo. Volvo dealers are usually your best bet for a new for old turbo. Regards, Don.

However the idea solution would a 3" all the way with high flow cat, then you get the best of both worlds.

you will get a light apear on later cars tho....i would agree with the ideal solution however simular results can be acheived for about 600 quid less with a decat
