toplights941 wait until you get the codes read as you could put more codes in the ecu,
worth clearing all the codes after they have been noted down and crank for 20 secs non stop then this should give the non start code. could be faulty imobiliser signal/antenna ring,or faulty key, have you a spare to try ?

I think you will need a code reader, a multimeter and a set of wiring diagrams to sort this out.
Given the other problems (O2 sensors) you have been posting about lately it seems you may have a wiring problem with the car. I'd take out the engine management ECU and check the termianls for corrosion/poor contacts, has the engine compartment been steam cleaned or pressure washed? |

By the way Chris,Foregot to say, every now and then the TRACS and ABS lights come up on start up and stays on but this only lasts for that particular driving cycle, the next time i drive the car it doesent ever appear ,this happens randomly and hasent happend till the day the TCU fuse blew,i ignored it as i usually do.

I think some time spent taking apart every connector in the engine bay and cleaning them will be worth it.
Start by removing the ECU's in the box behind the RH headlamp, one is the engine ECU and the other is the transmission. I suspect you have got water in there and this is the cause of your problems. Have a look at the connector on the ABS ECU below the ABS pump too. |
