Colerne - a fantastic day!
Well I'm just back from the Colerne Sprint, the third sprint that I have competed in this year. My improvements in times were encouraging:
Practice Runs 1) 105.51 2) 99.02 Competition 1) 103.22 (stuck piston on dump valve slowed me down, replaced for next run.) 2) 97.92. A big thanks to Don Norchi for all the support in replacing the piston and fitments , helping me change a set of tyres when the going got drier and the general driving advice which was invaluable. It was nice to meet Hamish, Natalie and their son for a chat and to see Hamish compete in his Jedi!

Hi Iain, well done in your new car, what were the track conditions like? How did Hamish get on? More details please guys. Nice pics Nat where's the video lol. Sorry I didn’t make the CB meet mate but the “Force” intervened and I was called to Mersea Island for sea food consumption lol.

Hi
That's Hamish's spare, spare engine a thing called a 'Krauser' its based on a Yamah TZ500 and its the engine that Steve Webster used in the world side car championship in the early 90's. He's hoping to get one of his ADM's ready for Brighton in a fortnight failing that, Cadwell as these are even more powerful than the Krauser (180 BHP v 150 BHP not bad for 500cc's!) Nat xx |
