starting problems
afternoon people,
well i have drove home some 80miles with my new 1998 v70 t5, and what a lovely drive....... i parked up i then had to go to the shops, and would it start.. no chance,!!!! i finally got it started after a few crank overs, the only time i have ever experienced this was with my 1994 850 glt (manual), this car would do it quite often when i did short trips, just refused to start until left for a while. i was told the early 850s suffered from sticky valves. but my new v70 t5 auto has good history with the car, oil is clear, no funny smells just passed mot, so im a bit baffled, the only thing i noticed on drive back is the cabin felt quite warm even though the heater was set to cold..? any ideas???????????????? many thanks

hmmm sounds like the stat might need replacing and the coil (or what ever there call now adays) could be the cause off the starting or dizzy / rotar arm
