Engine mounts
Hey guys,
Need an advice. I noticed on my missus 2012 C30 D2 top engine mount started to leak oil so its time for it to be changed, also noticed gears aren't smooth to change and every now and then you can hear 'clunk' noise when changing gears, so I assume lower mount needs changing to. So I think I will change all 3 of them at the same time. Now the question is, should I get OEM parts or just get what ever is on sale in eurocarparts?? Any advise would be great

Corteco make the more complex hydropneumatic mounts for Volvo so they would be my first choice but Lemforder, Febi, Delphi etc. would also be excellent alternatives.
There's certainly no need to go genuine Volvo as the quality can't be all that given that they need replacing after only 9 years. On older and heavier Volvos, you could expect mounts to comfortably last 3-5 more years when Ford accountants weren't involved in the component specifications.
