Just picked up my 2012 XC60 R-design, it has the dvd in the headrests but I'm really struggling to get the sound to play through the speakers?I've not tried the headphones yet (unsure how to get into the battery compartment). Unfortunately when we picked it up from the volvo dealership we were in a rush and didn't have time to go through everything with the salesman :-( . Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I do like the rebel blue R-Designs, very striking and you don't see too many!

I cant help with the headphones and rear media screens I am afraid, I'm sure someone will be able to assist though

Which type of rear DVD system is it there are 2. There is one with basically 2 separate DVD players which can be connected to the cars speakers or be on separate headphones.
The other one is fully integrated into the sensus system and uses the dash DVD, let me know which one and I will try and help.

Red face

Thanks for the replies folks, we originally were going to look at 2 R-designs in red at Grantham but this came up the night before, better colour and by the looks of it everything ticked on the extra's boxes. I'm ok with most tech but i'm struggling to sit in the car to work everything out without getting the urge to just go and drive it.
It's the system which you can load the dvd's into the bottom of the screens, it was my 4 year old daughter who worked out how to play one dvd on both the screens.
