Default Tightening front strut top mount

The front strut top mount on my car seems to have worked loose (second time since the mount was replaced). First time a garage tightened it for free, this time I am going to do the job myself and have a couple of questions.

Can I do the job with raising the car off the ground and are there any tips to make the job easier?

Thank you

Janie

You mean the bolt in the middle or the smaller 3 ones. If it's the one in the middle use a windy gun, shouldn't be coming loose once it's down should stay down you sure they haven't striped the thread and not told you .

Take the strut out and have a good look as it's a safety thing if they haven't done the job properly or stripped the thread.

Brakes and suspension are the two most important things on a car.
