Default Bio fuel running problems. Please help!

Hello,

I have the factory fitted LPG option on my V40 but I have the following problem:

Upon selecting the LPG button to switch from petrol to LPG, when the car is at low revs I can hear and feel the engine running rough. I also notice power loss when trying to accelerate - is this a normal thing to happen when running on gas?

When I use the car on LPG at 50mph plus, then the engine runs fine.

I had a friend who owns a garage look at the car and he checked that there were no cracks in the gas pipes etc and he seems to think there might be a misfunctioning injector which will be tricky to get at.

My questions are thus:

Has anyone else had a similar problem and in turn found a solution?
How much would it cost (huge guesstimate I know!) to have a Volvo dealer look at it before even fixing it?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Kind regards

Ian

There is an lpg section in the main forum I suggest you ask in there.
