![]() My May 05 V50 is finished in Blackcurrant Pearl, the paintwork is now covered in water marks that cannot be removed with normal washing and drying with a leather. Has anyone else suffered this problem and what can I do about it without polishing the car each time it gets wet. Tony |

This doesn't sound right.
I'd be inclined to take it back to the dealer for them to look at. Could be a faulty paint job. |

Do you live in a hard water area. I've seen several threads of this nature on swedespeed.com and it's suggested that the marks are minerals that are left if you don't manage to dry the car quickly enough - it should only really happen on a hot day so not that much of a problem in the uk. Something like vinegar diluted with a bit of water should get the marks off - it'll also take any polish off as well so a re-wax could be in order afterwards.
