Default Breaking 1998 C70 T5 GT coupe & 1998 S70 T5 CD

I have two parts cars that I will soon need to weigh in. Both have kept my other cars running, so I wonder if there may be anything other enthusiasts might be able to use.

C70 - torquiose with beige leather and alcantara interior. The engine and transmission are not available and the front body panels are gone. The interior is respectable.

S70 - red non-metallic - interior is gone - engine and transmission gone - body panels, rear lights, roof trim, various small components are all available.

Please let me know if there may be anything and I would be happy to post.

Many thanks

Hey Tweedle12,

What condition are the S70 roof trims in? The two that run from the windscreen to the rear screen.

And is the upper windscreen trim is in OK condition too? Do you think you could successfully remove it?

Thanks for your query. The roof trims look in great condition and the rear window trim. I am not sure how easy the latter would be to remove. Have you ever tried - any tips?

OK...great! I'll pm you to organise payment and collection of those long roof trims. I may spin up and collect in person at a time that suits us both.

The other trim I'm after is at the top of the windscreen where it meets the roofline...not the rear screen.

I guess you could try get plenty of lubricant in there, say 24hrs prior to removal, where I imagine it kind of folds forward towards the windscreen. It may have a bead of sealant holding it in place. If you have one of those plastic trim tools it may prove useful.

Hi Vol,
Yes, the sunroof looks to be in good shape. If you pm me your contact details, I will get you a few pics.

Best wishes

Do you have the steering racks? Does not matter if they are leaking or have some play as I want them as units to rebuild

Leave that with me - I have yet to to remove the engines, so if I can find a way to lower the subframes and still be able to roll the cars, the steering boxes might be available
