The Volvo Owners' Club Discounts

Considering joining up to The Volvo Owners' Club (if they'll have me).

The following benefits are stated:

• Discount at UK Dealerships on new parts, and some offer discount on labour charges for work undertaken at their workshops.
• Generous discounts on new and genuine Volvo parts from specialist Volvo parts suppliers, see our Parts page

Can anyone advise on the type of discounts available? Would it be worth my while to join up if only for this?

I reckon I need to replace belts, tensioners, pulleys, water pump and alt clutch etc. so it's going to add up to a pretty penny and any significant discount will help of course.
