Default Amazon Jack

Hi
Anybody tell me how the jack fits into the boot please.

I have two short rubber straps, one of which is longer than the other. Behind the spare wheel is two anchor points and one anchor point on the wheel arch.
Any ideas how these bits go together? Photo would be good.

I just keep mine wrapped up in cloth in the space between the spare wheel and the side of the car. Sorry I can't help with the proper way to store it.

On another matter, I found that the standard jack needs to be positioned very carefully so as not to scrape the body. I also managed to slightly buckle the sill the last time I changed a wheel.

I don't have complete faith in any of my jacking points (rust etc) and so I have now bought a cheap 2-tonne jack (£20 from Halfords) which I feel much more confident with, as well as it being quicker.

The jack is stored behind the spare wheel. There should be two fixing points there with straps on. The longer strap fits around the top part and the shorter one the lower part.

Hope that helps.
