That's alright, the last time I had to get you to check for me I wrote it down with all of the part numbers I've got as I knew I would need it again at some point, I've used it multiple times since then so thank you for finding it in the first place.

No worries, i'm just upset the site has disappeared, there was so much info on there for all Volvo models. Maybe a chat with your local Volvo dealer might persude them to find an old 7/9xx Pocket Data book. I plan on asking next time i'm visiting mine.

I have a copy of the Data Pocket Booklet 700/850/9xx '91-97 as a pdf on my computer.
It doesn't upload on Forum site as it's too big at 12.5mb. I am not going to zip it as it probably still won't be accepted. If anyone wants one send me a DM with your email address and I will copy you. Bob. |

Latest...
Well a couple of days back I did a round trip of about 100 miles, mainly A-roads and motorway but some local pottering and I am still getting 34 mpg which is WAY more than normal in a 940 turbo which I think sits uneasily with the theory that the lambda sensor is causing the ECU to enrichen the mixture.
About to repeat the trip - more news later. And given what my local garage would charge just to test the lambda sensor (which it says it does not know how to do!!!) I might just as well buy a new one and tell them to slap it in and re-test. After I have done or had done air filter dizzy cap rotor arm HT leads and plugs.

This will clear the fault codes and fuel trims from the ECU, allowing it to relearn from factory settings. Given your garages apparent lack of knowledge on how to do things (don't know how to test a Lambda sensor, insisted the redblock had a cam position sensor and others i can't remember now), are you sure they're even mechanically inclined, never mind qualified?

Regarding Roger's comment that a sensor would cost £53 could he advise where I can get one at this price-ish please?
