We are finally getting nearer to the big day; have been given a build date of 26th Feb, for delivery in mid March, and have even picked the registration number - so the end may be in sight.
The salesman at our dealer was telling me how bad things have been, getting new cars has been extremely difficult, and their allocation has been just a fraction of the number that they would normally have. They have been turning business away because they know that they would not be able to provide the cars in any reasonable time.

Our T3 Inscription was ordered in July for an October delivery and was delivered in March….
Spec matches the September brochure, one thing that’s a bit poor though is, there is no back on the glovebox, it opens to reveal the wiring loom, a similar issue with the front seats forward, multi couloured loom unprotected on show there too. Otherwise, drives well.

We received a phone call today to tell us that the car is at the dealer, so we will be picking it up next week, so just shy of 9 months since being ordered.
If it turns out to be as good a car as the old one, we will be very happy. I’m still intrigued to see exactly what differences there will be from our model year 2020 one.

I see they are on v4 of the spec. I ordered using v2. Car is now cheaper because the bendy high spec led lights and cornering fog lights are being removed due to lack of chips. Dealer says they got to v9 of spec before last cars were delivered and folk were walking away as the car did not have spec they were expecting. Check your delivery spec carefully against what you ordered. My dealer says he has no idea when my car will be ready (ordered in Jan 22) just hopefully before 2023.

I ordered my T3 R-Design with a few extras (Onyx Black), Climate, Apple play and Sensors at the end of October with a proposed delivery date of Mid Feb. The dealer was actually spot on and it was only me that pushed back the collection till March - to get the car on the new 22 reg. I was told however that new orders would not be fulfilled till early 23
