Hi, can anyone help please ? The CD (3 Disc Holder) will not stay in when inserted and just keeps rejecting the holder. The display shows that it is loading but throws it out after a few seconds, any Ideas please ? Kind Regards Mac

I know this doesn't help but I have two 901's that are the exact same.
Nothing I do seems to work. I am currently thinking that I' going to have to send one of them away for repair but haven't really looked in to it in too much detail to be honest. Another member said that they have one in full working order that I can get. Hope that someone is able to help you out. Craig

I had a similar problem, where the 3cd case would not stay in the dock.
as long as you know the radio code!!! try turning the radio on and pull out the fuse to shut it down, which resets the radio etc. turn the radio off at the knob, replace the fuse and turn it back on, it will ask for the radio code, and when that has been entered and is up and running again, it should accept the cd case. Worked for me. Looking at the fuse layout on the lid I think there are 3 fuses which relate to the radio, I pulled out one at a time until it shut down. Hope this helps. |

It can also be the lens unit which is dirty and does not read the CD. If the radio is unable to read a CD it will pop out the cartridge.
The lens can be cleaned with alchohol...You need to dissassemle the unit (the lid) then the 4 screws holding the CD unit (2 on the back of the unit, 2 inside the radio). Then lift out the unit (take the front panel out first). Now you will see the lens which can be reached with a cotton stick and cleaned. Here I made some pics where I dissassembled mine (radio tuner fault) http://www.motor-talk.de/bilder/radi...205870480.html Cristian Last edited by scutyde; May 8th, 2013 at 11:55. |

Make sure it's nothing like mine was. I bought a car with the 3 disc cartridge missing, when I eventualy got one it wouldnt go in no matter what I tried. It was only on closer inspection that I found a bag of plastic airfreshner beads in stereo (in the space where the cartridge needed to go). Since removing it the damn cartridge still refuses to go in but I can only presume now that something has gotten bent inside.
