Default O/S Washer

Annoyingly the driver washer is not working but passenger seems fine. I've tried poking the sprayer with a needle & wiggling around.

Where's the Volvo failure point here?

Have you disconnected the tubing from the washer jet and seen if fluid is actually getting to the jet. If so, remove the jet and chemically clean it off the car. If not, work back along the tubing to the next connection and disconnect on the upstream side to see if the fluid is getting there and keep going until you reach the point where the two tubing systems branch. If you haven't located the problem by then, your car is haunted!

Lift the bonnet. Where the nozzles go through the bonnet, you will see pipes on the underside. A common culprit for the washer nozzle not working is a little connection that looks like a T shape. It gets blocked and restricts flow to that particular nozzle (there's one T piece for each nozzle). Another thing to check is the hoses themselves, they can become unattached or blocked, meaning you get no water through the nozzle. You can clean the T pieces or buy new ones, but a good test is to blow through them (when clean obviously) to see if any air is passing through. If air passes through, water will.

You can also take the nozzles off and give them a clean in some kind of solution.
