T5-R performance exhaust questions.
Hey all, bought a T5-R estate around six weeks ago, given the car a full stage zero, and injectors are off for cleaning and refurbishment next week - so now looking at tuning the car a bit, and I'm just wondering whats best with regards to the exhaust - is a system that starts at the cat like the ferrita ones the best viable / decent option, or should I look around for a sports manifold aswell? The original one looks quite restrictive, but I'm struggling to find a replacement - any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ferrita exhausts.
You can check the Ferrita exhausts that I keep in stock in the UK here:

you can get the ME7 manifolds for better flow, they are a good upgrade and good value for money. When you do see one for sale, it would probably be £50/£60 pounds
Also, regarding the exhausts, Ferrita is a very good make. You can go for a cat back systehm which will help flow or go for a complete exhaust which will include downpipe/cat. I think the downpipe/cat is £600 alone. Rarely do you see a used one on sale, as for the cat backs exhausts systems, they do some up often I have a T5R also at the moment and will be having some work/mods soon HTH |
