  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Cool mass air flow symptoms

what are they? my car is fine at tickover and drives fine but seems a little flat, mot tester says emissions are too high (luckily doesn't need mot yet) and emissiion service light is on, no surging, just alittle flat

When mine went the revs would surge and fall for about 5 seconds,but only when started from cold on the first start of each day,after that it would be fine for the rest of the day.I then noticed it seemed slightly sluggish and wouldn't kick down through the auto box as it should and gear changes just seemed 'different'.If you suspect it just either get the codes read or buy a new one,shop around,they're fairly cheap.
