Sad to hear. I've loved my volvo. Has anyone had their recall and actually needed it doing?

They CAN tell you which modules were updated but not the content of the updates ... make a point of asking next time before it is done and the technician will write down the modules from the screen in front of him when he is doing it .

A bit of pre purchase homework could have saved you a lot of heartache. If I'm reading this right youve had the car 16 years? Good luck getting anyone interested after over a decade and a half.

Steering pulses?
Hi there, I have similar trouble to some on this forum re my XC90. I bought a 2004 the steering seems to "pulse" when moving slightly on the move at say 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock as you look at steering wheel, the steering moves from one side to the other, also on a full lock the whole car judders and feels as if it is being pushed rather than driven and coming off motorway or decelerating hard the car wanders... Bit worrying, can anyone help.... Also is it still possible to get these recalls done through dealers I have read about, (VOSA website).
Many thanks in advance Chris and Sam |

Hi
I have an 58 plate xc90. But I haven't heard anything. Do you think I should contact my dealer? |
