Are you sure that you have a DPF in your cars?
Certainly the 56 registration doesn't. You don't mention the year ot model of your other car.

the difference is down to What additives are or are not added , and the marketing to go with. as for "tractor fuel" dont know dont care ,should never have been used and promoted for use in Cars

The fuel's all coming from the same place(s), so the brand isn't so much what matters ... what matters is the state of the tanks the fuel's being stored in (eg. what crap they've got in them), and the turnover of the service-station where you're buying it.
You don't want to be buying PULP98 that's been sitting in the tank for 3 months 'cos so few people buy much of it at that location ... |

Depends, does the Euro 4 have the DPF, ive been told on here that i have the Euro 4 engine, engine is the D5244T4 It was registered in Nov 2006, as far as i know, a 56 plate is a late (after September) 2006, early 2007, i could be wrong but that's how i understand the latest plate system, Vida says its says it's a MY07 as stated in my signature

While accepting there is a positive benefit in additives that raise the octane or cetane level of the fuel, I'm doubtful about the benefits of so-called 'cleaning' additives which may (or may not) be worth spending extra cash on... a quick look at Shell's own blurb for their V-Power reveals an awful lot of small print covering their backsides over any claims, including several 'actual effects and benefits may vary according to vehicle type, vehicle condition and driving style' type statements!
https://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/v-p...-unleaded.html https://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/v-p...er-diesel.html It must be borne in mind that the additive content will obviously displace the fuel content in a specified volume. And the energy is in the fuel content!
