Help!
All,
My car has been absolutely great for over a year but issues are creeping in the closer I get to 180k miles. The question is should I give up with this thing? My issues: 1) I have a floating in 2nd and 3rd gear issue which is progressively getting worse. If I put my foot down it's perfect but on slight acceleration, it just half engages 2nd and or 3rd and then slides in after floating for up to 30 seconds. Manual changes are spot on. I'm planning on doing a fluid change and reset of fluid counter and adaptations to see if this works... 2) Heating system doesn't adjust/work to temperature. I have replaced the internal sensor but it doesn't work/change direction I think due to something falling down the centre vents causing a blockage. 3) the Ac doesn't work (linked to 2) but I don't know whether to recharge it as it could be a waste of money. 4) I'd like to do swirl flaps and degunk the top of the engine and ARG but with the gearbox is it worth it.... 5) The SatNav was interrupted on an update so I have a permanent update message which I can cancel off so the satnav then works fine. Could be the DVD or could be the hard Disk but the update is stuck so something needs to be done - what?!? 6) I have half of my rea window demist bars not working. 7) The passenger front window has started to work erratically and sometimes won't open at all. So the question is do I throw money into the small issues and get them resolved one by one or just give up with it? Thoughts? ** BTW - VIDA reports 3 issues only relating to the heating system, Passenger window and AC system. |
