Vol-FCR.....

Hi all ive got Vol-FCR running on a old laptop but ive found it very basic

Could I use the lead ive got with some other software ?

What are you expecting and what version of Vol-FCR are you using?

Note that the eninge is not OBDII compliant so engine live data is only available using a Volvo scan tool.

Only version 1.7 or higher of Vol-FCR has live data capability. The 1.4 versions floating around the internet only allow you to pull codes and reset service lights etc.

As Chris says, what are you expecting ?

Am on 1.3 vir I think can read some codes and reset light

Was hoping to get live data feeds

You need 1.7.x for Live Data.

You have pirate copy then.

Live data is available for most ECUs in the latest version of Vol-FCR but not for the Motronic 4.3 ECU in the 850T5.

To get live data from this ECU you will need a Volvo or Bosch scan tool.

Yea I think it's a funny copy it came on a cd with other car software
