Coming back to my rear light,
Volvo are replacing the light next week whilst its in for service, but in the meantime I want to drain the inch or so of water in the bottom of the light. Keeping in mind, the light is being replaced, I was going to drill a tiny hole into the outside plastic as close to the bottom as I can. Although I don't think the light will ever work again, at least I know that any short circuits may be lessened given that I am still driving this car everyday and at night to.

Light is being replaced today whilst car in for service,
I am liking the loan car a lot, a brand new just registered XC90 B5. They drove out of the showroom, so I could use it today. it literally has no miles on it. There is something about driving a brand new car, even if I have to give it back later today.

Wondering if it’s possible to retro fit them? Sure it would be, but how complicated is another question. |

It’s not a difficult job, other than being a pain having to loosen/part remove the rear bumper. Not the best design for changing a light cluster but there are worse lol!
