Default Polestar Upgrade Offers?

I have a 2009 XC70 D5 (205) and looking for a dealer in Yorkshire/"The North" to install the Polestar upgrade.

I notice the standard price is £695 but various dealers often run promotions or have it listed for £555, and other posters on this forum have reported it as low as £300, is there anywhere in particular I should look for the best offer?

I'm sure companies such as Celtic Tuning do a good job but I'm not interested in a non-Polestar upgrade.

Cheers!

You are absolutely correct in going for Polestar. Aftermarket tuners can give anything from great improvement to digital butchery but Polestar's advantages are that if you express the description of what you have had done in non "boy racer" terms, your insurers will look kindly on the upgrade.

Also if you have the soft ware on your car upgraded by Volvo to cure a problem, the Polestar upgrade remains in the software whereas aftermarket re-writes are deleted.

Lastly although Polestar doesn't give you earth shattering performance increases, it does provide all round improvements to the car which make driving it so much better. For example, I used to use the Sport selection on the Auto if I wanted to accelerate quickly but now I don't bother as Polestar gives the car more torque lower down the rev band and it just gets up and goes. I don't really understand why Volvo didn't put these software standards on the car off the production line.

Thanks for all the comments, checking this thread it seems I missed the last offer in Feburary which saw it go down to £480.00.

Neil from Lloyds kindly offered it for £555.00, which is still a reduced price, but as I'm in no rush I'll hold out a little longer.

Yep the £480 February offer was what I got.
But Neil is a great Guy and Lloyds a nice place to wait whilst being upgraded.
