Mine did sound like that too every time I turned the bolt,-so now the bearing is in place.

The bearing on the other side came out with no problems and the pressing tool held up just fine.
The bolts that fastens the caliper holder were not so easy.
Some smartass applied red locktite on them.
On one of them I had to weld a socket on it and use my mappgas torch to get it loose. But,-all is well if it ends well.
