Question 121 Brake Pipes

I was wondering does anyone make a brake pipe kit for the 121? If they do who?
I thought this would be the easy opition as I intend to replace all the pipes on mine over the winter.
What thread are the pipe unions and size of pipe do you need if I end up making my own?

Thanks
Jim C

Hi Jim
AUTOMEC make a set for the Amazon from copper nickel with all the connectors ready made for around £45 ex vat. I bought a set for my dual braking system OK. You'll need to tell them if it's a single. All the parts are numbered for identification and are good quality.

www.automec.co.uk

Hope this helps

Hi Jim
I ordered it direct from Automec when I as at the Restoration Show at Stonleigh. It came in the post a few days later. There is no reason it can't be done on the phone or maybe direct online.
Anyway I found the kit very good. One thing I would say though is make sure you have identified each piece before you start fitting as some parts are of similar length. Mine, as I said, is dual cicuit so the was more pieces to sort but it made sense in the end.

Good Luck
Brian
