Do you think the sensor is behind the rear view mirror or the blob in the middle of the grill in the dash?

Does anyone know how to get the sensor out? (the blob between the bottom of the windscreen and the Sat Nav)

I've tried pulling it (with fingers) and although it moves, it doesn't pop out easily.

I could lever it out but just don't want to break anything.

Hopefully I don't need to take the dash off but if anyone has any experience, please let me know!

Plastic trim tools and it should just pop out the dash. They just clip in.
