TuneIn app showing few locations

Does anyone know how I can add more countries in the tune in app.

It’s only showing a handful under Europe.

You need to install a VPN though that does not 100% guarantee you'll get the radio station you are looking for as licencing restrictions may impose an additional fee on a station broadcasting outside its territory.

Is it possible to install a VPN to the car? I have no problems with the TuneIn app for my iPhone.

I would suspect the VPN would be installed on the phone as that is what you are using as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Choose which country you want to be in on your phone VPN and then try accessing a different country.

Without knowing how old the car and the audio setup, kind of second guessing everything here.

Stating no problem with the app on phone and wanting a VPN to the car router suggests an aftermarket head unit with CarPlay and/or Android Auto connecting via small WiFi router with its own SIM. Probably not the case either hence my second guessing comment.

OK, so it's Sensus Connect.
If you are using the car modem you'll have an annual subscription for SIM card probably through Vodafone otherwise, you are getting your internet connectivity through your phone. If you are already using your phone and have a VPN running on it then the app is the restriction in which case just stream it via BT from the phone app.
If you are using the car modem you can test the car app by using your phone for internet connection.
