Default Question about iPod connection

Hi folks,

Looking for some clarification here regarding the iPod connectivity in the XC60 R-Design SE with High Performance Sound Audio System. The specification says that it has USB/Aux connections in the centre console but it also refers to a USB and iPod® Music Interface as an "Accessory". Does this mean I need to specify this when I order the vehicle, is it included as standard or can it be bought afterwards?

I want to be able to conctrol the Ipod from the stereo and see playlists etc. I do not want to connect via the headphone socket on the ipod itself.

Your help appreciated.

Mike

If you go for the High Performance System you'll get both the AUX connector and USB connect in the centre armrest. You need nothing else - apart from your ipod and ipod USB lead

I can add that the system works great!

Put on random and you'll have music for hours or days!
