Wanted - Diesel estate (850, V70 or 940)

Seriously considering selling the 960 in favour of a diesel Volvo.
Getting 45mpg vs the 25mpg I'm used to in my 3.0 960 Estate basically is the main reason.

Thinking 850 preferably, or V70 classic, (possibly 940, but I know that's unlikely).
Must be auto, and preferably in grey. Silver or black would be my next choices.
Also no cream or brown interiors!
Sub 140k, leather, aircon and cruise would be real nice too....

So if there's anything out there that fits these ridiculously fussy requirements let me know.
I'm happy to travel anywhere for the right car as it would be a keeper!

no idea if this of any interest, nothing to do with me but not far off 140k miles at 160k with the belt done at 150k and black leather but no mot wouldnt say its cheap for a car with no mot really.

Did spot that, but V70 is my third choice out the three... and the colour is pretty rubbish.

Looks good, but seen it elsewhere and it's a manual. Would be all over that if it was an auto!

my dad had an 855 in that green personally i liked it each to their own , mine wouldnt suit you as its a manual theirs a manual one forsale on these forums atm if you changed your mind. No idea quite how fr your willing to travel but i found these:

I'm more than happy to travel anywhere for the right car, I usually do go quite far. It wouldn't be the first time if I involved a 1000 mile trip to buy a car!

Got to be the right car though, and I'm not going to rush into the wrong one just to get something as I still have my 960 which is perfectly fine (just thirsty!).
Currently leaning very much towards a grey 855 TD auto with good spec.

Yer i know what you mean, its worth searching if you genuinely plan on keeping her a fairly long time. I really like black or grey 850s and they definitely are nicer to look at than ph1 v70s imo, gl with the search.
