xc90 front and back cigarette lighter problem
I have a front and middle cig lighter problem on my xc90 2005.
I have checked lighter fuse - it was fine, but I have replaced it just in case... No luck. I have checked all fuses under steering wheel.. They are all ok.. No luck.. I have checked front lighter wiring by taking the central dash out.. No luck.. I have checked middle lighter same way.. No luck.. I don't have a clue where else the problem might be.. If anyone have some ideas of which way to think now, I would be very greatful.. Thanks Last edited by Balabol; Jan 21st, 2015 at 16:07. |

You need to ask in the XC90 section.

I had a quick look at the wiring diagram, it could be fuse 11, 15amp under the steering wheel, and in the rear lefthand compartment fuses F6 and F8, 15amp.
Mine on the console only comes on with the key in position 1. John |

This may sound daft, and i caught me out, but the lighter sockets only work with the key in ignition and in position 1.
