So Darbs, to paraphrase your post above: 'Stop complaining or go and buy something else'. My sentiments exactly (from circa 8 pages ago), and even better VR now agrees as well (given response to your post) so it looks like we're all in the same place now. A happy note indeed on which to end the thread I'd say........

You do realise that anyone researching a new car is going to put "volvo xc60 review" into google and stumble across this thread and think we're all a bunch of fruitcakes!

btw, the RH to LH headlight change is rubbish to say the least. doesn't bother me though, if driving in Europe, i'll just use the usual method of restricting the beam manually. having made that point, if given the opportunity to speak to volvo, i would ask them what they thought about this idiotic piece of technology. numpties.
The thread above posted by Darbs is a good one and written in a nice friendly manner with good intent and needs to be read in full to best appreciate unlike a certain post response written by another certain person which was indeed rude insulting and offensive to the author and was unacceptable and out of order

Remember good people its not what is said......its how its said

Could swear the salesman told me it was.

Several have commented on the noise, ours is very quiet and refined (much quieter than my mates new BMW 320d), odd that there should be a such a difference.

Wonder if trim level make a difefrence, i.e. more or less insulation?

How about: 'Shut up Big nose!'

Or

'He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!'
