360 Brake servo

One of our 360s has just failed it's MOT due to a leaking brake servo unit. It seems they are only available from Volvo at around £300 so its going to be an expensive MOT. Almost not worth doing. Anyone know anything about these strange leaks, or a source of cheap brake servo units?

i have always bought a used one...not a common problem with servos 85 onwards...

we have a volvo breakers in scotland which i was in on Friday, i think he had 2 360s in, i certainly saw one red 360 GLt there, Jim

Thank's for the offer of getting a servo for me. Where abouts are you in the UK by the way?
As we had to get this done pronto, my daughter needed the car for work, we got the local garage to do it as part of the MOT which included a new servo from Volvo. Quite pricey and the whole bill was £500, but that included the exhaust and a new brake cylinder, probably much more than the car is worth, but it's a good-un, and as they say, better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

I'm either in Derby or Devon, depending on the time of year. Derby has a great scrap yard...
