Question Lip spoiler installation adhesive question

I'm getting the genuine painted S40 lip spoiler and my question is about attaching it.. There is a special adhesive kit by Volvo (£35) which is a 2 part adhesive requiring a special tool to apply it (over £100). I have got a quote from a Volvo dealer to fit it for £250 (that's just the labour..).

Is there another robust way of fitting it? Is double sided 3M tape good enough? I don't want to spend £160 on a spoiler just for it to go flying off..

Cheers.

I've gone for 3M VHB tape, tiger seal adhseive (for extra strength on the corners) and then Scotch automotive masking tape to line it up. Hopefully this holds it.
