Hi guys I'm looking for some advice on a suspension upgrade as the title suggests.
I have a R-Design model but I have no idea if it has the "sport" suspension or the standard suspension. The reason I want to upgrade the suspension is to improve the handling but also to lower the car a bit as the ride height as always been something that has bugged me. The wheels size is 18". It doesn't look lower than non R-Design S40s that I've seen which leads me to believe that it has standard suspension but to be honest I have no idea. I've added a link to a pic of the car in case anyone can tell just by the ride height. The distance from the top of the tires to the wheel arch is approx 50mm for the front and back. http://s1323.photobucket.com/user/Dy...tml?sort=3&o=0 I'm planning on replacing it with the Bilstein & Eibach B12 Suspension Kit. It lowers the car by 25mm front and back. http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=...Suspension-Kit If my car does have the volvo "Sport" suspension then I'm not sure if the above kit will lower it enough or not. I guess I'm just looking for thoughts and advice on it and also if any of you have bought the Bilstein & Eibach kit and what your impressions of it were. Also how much did it change your ride height,i.e from the top of the tire to the wheel arch? I appreciate any opinions and views you guys have. Cheers Alan
