1998 V70 T5 and he's called Timmy, named after the southpark character. Not sure where it came from or why it's stuck, i've never had a name for a car before, but this one seems to have stuck and both me and the wife call it Timmy.

Yes. Someone once told me that it was bad luck to name a car and that it made it more likely to break down. In order to counter this threat of a return to the dark ages and the rule of superstition and magic, every car I have had since then has been named. And as many as possible have been green.

Which even one I own at the time is simply called 'The Volvo'
This seems appropriate. The only Volvo's I havent done this with were 240's which I usualy refered to by parts of their registrations - ie 'BAY', 'TGN' etc |

For some reason I have only ever named one car, an S40 I had a few years ago. He was called Trevor, and the name seemed to fit.
I have never managed to think of a name to fit any car I have had since. I am picking up a new (to me) V70 very soon though and will try thinking of a name for it, perhaps related to the letters WOS on the reg plate. |
