Missing detachable tow ball - what else fits?

I bought a 2015 V60 Business yesterday, and though it has the detachable tow bar bracket it’s missing the swan neck. A genuine replacement is over £250, and for the life of me I can’t find any online that will fit. Does anyone know of other brands or part numbers will fit?

I wonder if mine will - I have a 2012 S60 R Design that came with a genuine towbar and I’ve never used it, just sat in a cupboard for years. If it would fit I’d be happy to sell mine

When you say "genuine replacement" is that a Volvo main dealer price or the manufacturer of the tow bar replacement price ?

There are a handful of tow bar manufacturers used by OEMs, I think Witter is used by Volvo - happy to be corrected. There should be some markings on the bracket or a part number in the handbook which you can use to search.

And if S60RDesign's item does not do it, I also have a spare genuine Volvo detachable tow bar swan neck thingy. Came off a Volvo towbar fitted to a 2102 XC70 I bought in 2016 which was written off a while later, and the detachable bit was in my garage when the car was written off.

They do vary slightly, as I offered it to someone else looking for one, but it was subtly different from the one he needed to replace. Very subtly, But I'm not so far from you (if you are, indeed, in Egham).

If you are interested I could try to see if it has part number on it or what the part number is.
