I watched the street art documentary/film "Exit through the gift shop" the other day. In one of the bits where they were buzzing around on scooters they passed a 240 estate parked up in the street. It was in france somewhere I think. Loads of peugeots and citroens with it.

The film "proof" was on the other night and although not really my kind of flick i was rewarded by seeing gwyneth paltrow driving a very nice 240..There does seem to be quite a few girls driving 240"s across the pond in films..I should imagine at the pre production meeting with the director..We"ve managed to get paltrow to do the movie..and we"ve decided to use the volvo 240 as her car as we feel it depicts perfectly her situation of doubt and being a bit mental!..(the rest of the team look at each other and nod in agreement whilst sipping on bottles of spring water)..Perfect!.. lunch everybody!..hj.

I don't know if this one's been mentioned before.
On PeepShow, series 4 episode 4. The bit where they go to the Safari Park has them driving around in a 240 Estate. Shows inside and out. It's a really nice colour, not usual, it looks a dark blue, almost green.

its not the original colour it was in fact white, if you watch and look at the tailgate from inside you can see its been hand painted and also the side in the boot is still white!!

I saw a 'Flash' advert on a website of a daily newspaper; Indie or Grauniad, that featured a blue saloon going into a swimming pool, looked like a 244 ..er, or a Hillman Hunter, havent found it again, not sure what it was advertising, think it may have had blokes around the swimming pool???

BBC 1 Friday night.."right at your door"..a sort of chemical spill sci fi film..I spotted a 200 series briefly as the chap punctures his tyre on route downtown..hj.

It looks like an original colour to me, 412 blue green / verdigris / tropic green, the same colour as mine. I've seen a fair few late 240s that colour. It's a strange colour, looks blue under some lights and green under others, I didn't like it at first when I got the car but it's rather grown on me.
