Volvo 740 GLE 2.3 Auto Saloon

Hi folks,

This is a re-list as it seems my previous ad was wiped out when the forum went down over the last couple of days. Thanks to those who have worked hard to restore the forum to working order again!

What I have for sale is this:

One Volvo 740 GLE 2.3 Automatic Saloon in Silver metallic with a black leather interior (in good condition). The car is offered as a parts donor or repairable project, although I would probably say most likely the former.

The mot is due 10th March and today it seems a large water leak developed from the heater core area of the dashboard. Great bodywork - no dents in any of the panels and all electrics work and Auto tranny in great working order (4spd). Engine is the great B230F , but would benefit from a head gasket. Does not use any oil between services. 184,000 miles. Daily driver until today.(17-2-10)

New nissens radiator,new water pump and new front pipe fitted recently.
Car must be removed whole, as I have nowhere to break it .

Hi Brodgar,

Date of first registration was the 23-3-89, and she's on an 'F' plate. Actually, while there's mot on it the reg no. is valued at between 350-450 gbp as well but that's not long to go of course..
