Default All door mirrors electric?

Hi all,

Are all 70 series door mirrors electric? If not, what about all C70 ones? I need a new one and just wondering if I can just order one and it will be electric or do I need to check with the seller first? Thanks

It is fair to say that every single '70 series has/had electric heated mirrors. Was in at every level of spec from '97 to '05.
Cheers
And that is a good price there from BlackBeast

Great, thanks OvlovS70.

And thanks for the offer BlackBeast, that is a good price, but I need a passenger one and it needs to be in black as the cover on mine is damaged.

Not sure about the mirror body itself, but the painted cappings on the C70s are definitely different to the S/V70s. The glass seems to be the same though, so it's possible that that main body is a common part.

I have a spare mirror here but it's drivers side too, sorry!

As a slightly off topic aside, C70s for the Japanese market had the option of electrically operated folding mirrors. I investigated getting some a few years back but the cost was prohibitive and required a major wiring harness to be replaced if done properly. And in any event, I've no room left on the dash panel for another switch!

Thanks, but I can get one in black for £45, just wanted to know if it would definitely be electric.

Power folding would be nice, my last car had that and it's surprising how much you use it! But very expensive to replace though, best part of £100 if you can find one for sale. C70 ones go for £25-£30 and there's plenty of them around which is good for me as I have replaced both mirrors on the V70 and now this one on the C70 in the last 18 months. The V70 ones were both smashed off while parked up, so annoying coming back to the car and finding it like that!

Not sure what happened to the C70 one as I was like it when I bought it but probably the same thing as someone has glued it back on! Lol

Just went out to compare as I have a V70 and C70 sitting on the drive, they are completely different! I thought they would be the same, can't believe I haven't noticed the difference before. First pic is the V70, second is C70.

It was one of the first things I noticed on mine when I first washed it, after having the S70. Harder to get hold of, I suspect! Perhaps only the glass is interchangeable, as the lower body looks different there too?
