V40 help needed.ECU swop

I have a 2016 Volvo V40 2.0 diesel auto that needs a full ecu and bit swop to get it to run.
The car was subject to a road accident that caused the ecu to be smashed and Volvo wanted over 1400 uk pounds to sell me another plus a fortune to program it up. I would like to buy a second hand ecu and key reader and all the other buts need to swop the ecu ident over. can anybody point me in the right direction please.

for ecu cloning contact lucaz at volvo diagnostics in tillbury they do a postal service. what do you mean by a key reader? ecu is a specialised job you cant do it yourself.
