This might be a stupid question, and I'm asking in all innocence, but who is Tim Williams, please?
Cheers, T

Tim is a mechanic who has built himself up an excellent reputation. I've never used his services, as such, but every time I speak to him I'm impressed by his near-encyclopedic knowledge. He's also the owner and builder of the white 850 recently seen in PPC mag - just the slow car is potters down the shops in
This thread is going miiiiiles off-topic. I feel a split coming on... cheers James

Oi! This stops now!
I realise that the issue of alleged rogue traders is a contentious one, but this is the OWNERS club forum and thus has a duty to provide the owner or prospective owner with a balanced view of all aspects of ownership issues. The opinion of owners is thus welcome and if that means that some owners have experienced problems with an alleged specialist (all specialists are 'alleged' in my view unless proven otherwise) they have the right to air their concerns. This thread wasn't derailed until people started complaining that it was whereupon it got sidetracked into who is right and who is wrong in airing their grievances. Please keep the thread on topic and save your differences for another time. Feel free to start civilised discussion as to the rights and wrongs of 'naming and shaming' in the appropriate area. Thank-you |

This thread has been completely threadjacked, so I'm going to move all the off topic posts over to a new thread, where you can continue discussions as much as you like, but keep it polite please.
New thread is in General Discussions. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=101792 Last edited by pettaw; Aug 5th, 2010 at 08:23. |
