Default XC90 Alarm

Hi Guys

Got a new XC 90 and i am having trouble with the alarm going off on its own. This sometimes happens in the middle of the night and sometimes during the day. Anyone know if this is a common problem and if there is a cure?

I thought it may be a little sensitive to movement as the last few days have been a little windy and could rock the car a bit. Is there any adjustment?
Thanks
BigBirt

Best bet would be to take it to a Volvo dearler who will be able to read off the alarm causes.

The XC90 used a mass movement system to detect interior movement. Mkae sure yu have no metailc objects hanging down from the interior of the vehicle/rear view mirror.
