Smile Black Diamond vs EBC

I'm in the process of uprating my 760 GLE to a Turbo charged version (just got to bolt it all together) so will need to uprate the braking components

I have been advised off EBC (by many including from the forums) so my choice is Black Diamond and if they're naff then Tarox. Brembo are just insanely expensive.

Anyone got any experience with Black Diamond discs and pads do Black diamond do calipers to match ?

Hi,

BlackDiamond seem to have a good rep, particularly when used in conjunction with their pads..

Only heard bad things about EBC Greenstuff if I remember..
Have a search of the forum, there have been postings about them here...

I have Black diamond grooved discs with EBc green stuff pads.....

Now i gave them the ultimate test round the Nurburgring in June, fitted a week before i went, at 1st i had terrible vibration but once they had been stamped on in a few corners it stopped and brake fade was never an issue!!!

The only thing i will say is they do need to get quite hot to work at there best..
