New warning message
This morning I had a "windscreen sensor blocked" message. Does anyone know what it means. I would assume it is the sensors in the top section near the city safety laser, but that area is covered by the wipers and so cleaned regularly.
The message cleared itself after a few minutes, and no obvious functions stopped working (adaptive cruise etc), although I wasn't willing to test the City Safety to find out !

I get the same when the screen is frosty, it clears after the frost is removed so put it down to that. If it does'nt clear then you have a problem.

Hi, I had the same message when we had the heavy snow and frost. The cause was when the car was started, the sensor was blocked as I had not cleared all the snow and ice from the top of the windscreen where the sensor is, i.e the area of the windscreen where the sensor is (near the rearview mirror). Once this was clear the message disappeared.

The camera lens itself can mist up too and that has a built in heater so will need a short while to clear ..
