Default Brand new XC90 Active - with a leak!!

Less than 500 miles on the clock, one downpour and a soaking passenger front footwell .... my wife said she thought we would be drier not wetter! Fit for purpose .... questionable.

I really hope they can sort this as in every other respect we are very satisfied with our new car - but from previous experience leaks tend to be very hard to sort out so not sure I hold out too much hope. It has put a "dampener" on proceedings (excuse the pun!).

Looks like it is coming in between the bottom of the windscreen and the top of the bonnet.

Anyone else got this problem? Not too happy about if if I am honest.

had the same problem, water went in under the carpet and wet the yaw sensor which knocked out the DSTC.

we had to remove the wiper mechanism and seal up everywhere possible under the windscreen

get the dealer to do this but keep a very close eye on it because they might not get it all the first time, mine was leaking for years before I discovered it, out of warranty etc

I have had the same problem, a very wet front passenger carpet for several weeks. Local dealer said they could not find the cause of it. Don't they have a responsibility (still under warranty) to find out what the problem is and rectify it?

Where exactly is the water getting in in your case? Also, I would have thought my carpet woould have dried out by now.

Thanks.

A twisted air conditioning pipe. Get them to check that out for you. It is logical if you think about it - although I didn't!!

Not another one!! Is it an added extra or a standard specification!

Hope you get it sorted out soon... Fills me with confidence (not).
