Yep I know where you are. I use a wheel refurber at Wiggington.

Coolio, drop me a PM if you are able to make it over.

Hells bells!
I'm regularly up that way in Whitby and I thought the 40 minute York>Scarb times and 45min York>Whitby times I've made in my 2.0NA on P1 T4 springs were good

As you say, these were all done at night, usually after a drive up from my Southern homelands... A64 in broad daylight is precious little fun.

Nice part of the world youre in mvr and the only place in England that can make proper fish n chips and fish cakes, although I don't think you guys up there eat rock salmon. I have two cousins in Leeds somewhere they grew up in Elvington just outside York. And the baby's don't stay that way for long so enjoy mate

It really is Volvo country though - although I suspect that's cos you're not so far from Antz and he cross-breeds them into new free-range species.
Another part of the Uk that is volvo country is Lytham St Annes. My girl lives there and there's a lot of Volvo's up there. I believe it's down to their local independent mechanic - Jump Leads. This man knows his Volvos (And charges a fair price as well)
